RING No. 156

Today was a good day. I went to church this morning for the first time in a month or so. It was very uplifting for me, especially because of the difficult things I have been dealing with.

The weather was perfect all day! I rode my bike from Kent to Ravenna and back. I worked up quite a sweat! While there I was able to rest and soak up some sun. I cannot wait to track my distance and calories burned through Runkeeper.com....:)

I got to hang out with Dave today and we had delicious strawberry smoothies! yum!

I made today's ring out of found natural objects. Mostly wood. This ring kind of resembles a primitive transformer or something like that. I cut, filed, and sanded pieces to fit together. I painted an eye shield on the "head" and bored out a coffee bean to use as a helmet. The arms are golf tees as are the legs. The left object in his hand is made from exotic ebony hardwood, the right side object is made from coconut shell. The waist piece is walnut. I am not sure what type of wood the head/torso is. I found it a while back on campus.

Thanks for reading!
